STIs do not mean you’re dirty, immoral, or irresponsible. They’re just a part of having a sexually active life! While using barrier contraception (condom, dental dam) greatly reduces your chance of becoming infected with and transmitting STI’s, it is possible to do all the “right” things and still acquire an STI. Desert Rain Midwifery is a safe space to ask all your questions, discuss your concerns, and receive compassionate, evidence-based support.
